If the people’s concern was over dead rituals rather than spiritual sincerity,

백성들의 관심사가 영적인 진실성보다는 죽은 의식에 있었다면,

then once again Israel had not yet learned their lesson. 

이스라엘은 다시 한 번 교훈을 얻지 못했습니다.

The economic and political prosperity they were experiencing would disappear regardless of whether they had their empty ritual of wailing and fasting or not.

그들이 경험하고 있던 경제적, 정치적 번영은 통곡과 금식이라는 공허한 의식이 있든 없든 사라질 것입니다.

When you go to church, to pray, or to fellowship with other believers, is there a desire to give God glory?  

여러분이 교회에 나가서 기도하거나 다른 신자들과 교제할 때,    하나님께 영광을 돌리고 싶은 마음이 있습니까?  

Or is it to get what you can get out of it.                                Is your attitude to get or to give?

아니면 자신이 얻을 수 있는 것을 얻기 위한 것입니까?     여러분의 태도는 받기 위한 것입니까, 주기 위한 것입니까?

God wants to bless His people! 

하나님은 당신의 백성을 축복하기를 원하십니다! 

But He can only bless His people if they live a life intended to bring Him honor and glory. 

그러나 그분은 당신의 백성이 그분께 존귀와 영광을 돌리는 삶을 살 때만 축복하실 수 있습니다. 

God does NOT desire people to just worship Him.        His desire is for us to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth,

 하나님은 사람들이 그분께 예배만 드리기를 바라지 않으십니다.                      그분의 소망은 우리가 영과 진리 안에서 ,

not in ritual and formality.

의식과 형식이 아닌 영과 진리로 예배하는 것입니다.
